Position: Technical Consultant – Customer Support
The Technical Consultant addresses:
- installing Decos D5 software at clients or resellers locations
- installing hardware (scanners, servers)
- conversions, integrations, connections
- supplying technical advice
- second line support to clients and resellers
- designing and describing new solutions for clients
- technical support to Functional Consultants
- functional support to 1st line helpdesk
- maintaining and updating FAQ
Job Requirements
- technical background in software programming
- Bachelors’ degree is ideal
- at least 3 years in technical software support for a vendor or reseller
- experience with most Microsoft solutions, experience with MySQL, SQL and Oracle databases
- experience in .net
- experience in patiently advising clients, users and technical personnel
- willing to travel (under 50%)
- position is based in South Atlanta (no relocation offered)
- people person, excited to work and communicate with other people
- you will be thoroughly tested by an FBI background check because of federal and state government affiliations
Compensation
- $44,000-52,000 based on experience
- Compensation for benefits
- Company Car optional based on experience
- Cell phone allowance or cell phone
- 15 Days Paid Time Off
