Symbol for digital technology

The design of its new headquarters is a symbol for the digital technology of Decos. The Decos culture and vision inspired the architect Inbo in the creation of this fabulous design. This futuristic building is feasible because Decos is committed to the new way of working – independent of time and place. All Decos' administration is done online, so there are hardly any filing cabinets in the office.

Architect Jeroen Simons is delighted that his design has arisen at the SpaceBusinesspark: “The fact that this fantastic ‘Star Wars’-concept is actually realised, reflects the passion and vision of Decos. This office totally represents the 21st century.”

Both interior and exterior of the new office match the philosophy and ambitions of Decos perfectly. Employees work in a paperless environment: all information is digitalized, so there is hardly any need for filing cabinets. “The new way of working – independent of time and place – is very natural at Decos, as we use our own technology,” according to Paul Veger, CEO and founder of Decos Technology Group. “Most of the work stations are flexible and employees can log on from their laptops. Besides, I personally feel it is very important to generate a creative and innovative working environment, so we can come to the best solutions."

Paperless office as meeting point

"This company is characterized by mutual trust and openness, and this is reflected in the transparent interior with its glass walls, open stairs and central coffee corner. Staff schedules (including those of the management team) are open to everyone, which means that people are always approachable, no matter who they are. If you don't want to be disturbed, you can simply work at home or in the quiet room. This makes the office a meeting point for employees who come and go as they please. In this way, I try to give my people the space to develop their talents and grow."
