The Regenboogboom Foundation teaches children facing illness, trauma or a handicap to independently develop an inner sense of security. This enables them to face their difficult circumstances with greater self-confidence, peace and zest for living. Willemien Veger-Frudiger, the wife of Decos founder Paul Veger, is very closely involved with the Regenboogboom Foundation as a hospital volunteer. No wonder that Decos feels very close to this foundation and is delighted to be able to contribute.
In April 2009, Decos took part in a successful benefit evening at the Madurodam miniature city. Hostess Tooske Ragas presented a professional program with numerous performances, a lottery and a delicious dinner for more than 200 sponsors. All the proceeds from the evening went to the Regenboogboom foundation.
