You decide per file who is allowed to read it, comment on it, change it or download it. Rather not share a file? Sharing can be stopped with one press of the button.
This has advantages for the receiving party too. If the employee is off sick or has left that job, you can easily add a new person to a collaboration and he/she immediately has access to all the documents and comments.
Of course attention has been paid to security: you work in a secure environment with a secure connection, and two-step verification can be activated for logging in.
We developed JOIN Collaboration using input from users and tested the system with them.
Setting up the collaboration or joining it begins with a simple step-by-step process. Each step is clearly explained and you know for sure you won’t miss anything.
What is more, JOIN Collaboration meets the standards of the Digital Accessibility Law introduced in September 2020 by the Dutch government.
The setup of a collaboration happens in 6 easy steps
JOIN Collaboration is fully integrated with the JOIN case and document system. From the document registration you can start a collaboration with one press of the button.
This action starts the transfer of files from the JOIN case management system to JOIN Collaboration, and blocks the files in the document registration so no more changes can be made.
As soon as the collaboration is finished in JOIN Collaboration, the modified files are sent back to the case management system.
Start a collaboration directly form a document in JOIN
With JOIN Collaboration you know exactly who contributes what to the collaboration. The history page shows what has happened in one clear overview. This makes the decision-taking process transparent.
JOIN Collaboration is easy for JOIN users to use. They log in with their familiar details.
External parties need to make an account when starting their first collaboration. This can then be used for all following collaborations.
If you want to keep your documents extra secure, activate the two-step-verification.
The bridge to Office 365
JOIN Collaboration combines the best of both worlds: you start a collaboration directly from the case management system where all your files are conveniently together; you then decide who can access them, how long the collaboration is available and who has what rights.
Office 365 is completely integrated in JOIN Collaboration. This means you can work in the familiar environment of Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
